Default How many monitors to trade forex?

Is there a fixed or minimum number of Monitors one needs to use while trading forex?

As for me, I am happy using one monitor. Plus I also use a mobile device to trade when I'm outdoors and to remain updated, as this helps me to open/close positions even while I am away from my monitor.

hi Joshua,

I am an account manager in eToro. If you are just starting in forex, all you need is a decent computer and internet connection. As time goes by and you get more advanced in this trade, you may find it useful to have more than one monitor. But it is definitely not essential in the beginning.

Hi,

Right now I'm using 6 Monitors with 3 Systems. I have really gone ahead and splurged on them.I have placed them at different angles. My 6th monitor is a laptop, which is loaded with a trader chatroom. I think I could use about 2 more monitors, to get medieval on these pips across many different pairs.

Honestly speaking, the number of screens you require depends on what kind of data you are looking out for and how many accounts you wish to open with at one time.

hi joshua,

Two monitors are good enough, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it is impossible to trade with one monitor. Having more equipment doesn't mean more successful trading. It just makes easier visually to see charts as human's eye is more comfortable with such view.

Good luck!

I agree with Carmel……because I’m not sure if one can hope for better success rate using more monitors. I think more the number of monitors, greater the confusion….
