Lets say you are fairly new to forex. You see some huge changes in the value of a currency pair. Ever wonder what causes it? One of the main reasons is there was an economic indicator released that affected one of the currencies.

So how much effect did certain fundamental economic events like US Fed interest rate, Non-Farm Payrolls et.al have on the global forex and stock market?

I think they effect alot. There are huge influences and heavy impacts on trading scenario. Thats why i think there is a separate field of study called fundamental analysis where this news are trapped and studies for trend analysis.
